We asked people, what does a new riding area like the proposed MotokazieLand in Rice County mean to you and your family?  We took a sampling of the responses we received, and here is what they had to say.

"I have 6 members of my family and 4 young children who love to get outdoors and especially go ride their dirt bikes together. To have such a facility nearby would be a great way to get out and ride at an organized safe facility on a regular basis. We are all very excited to see this park continue through to completion. "I support motokazieland.  we need a clean, safe, and well organized riding facility in this area and I know Lee and his crew will provide that."

"I live in Dundas, MN with my wife and young son.  We currently have to drive at least an hour to get to a track that has options for all of our skill levels.  Having an MX park so close will mean we will save lots of time and money and will be able to ride more often.  It will be an incredible opportunity for my son to practice in a safe and structured environment."

"We are a family of 5 that make motocross a family outing. It is something to do that we all enjoy with 2 children that ride dirtbike. It is wonderful that we meet other families that have the same interest's. It is a well organized event with no alcohol allowed and the only racing allowed is on the track. This would be great if motokazieland was approved and close to home.."

"It means we have a brand new motocross facility and close to home! It will be affordable for us to go there to practice and race."

"As far as riding would go, it would be a place that's close for me as well as many other riders in the metro and surrounding areas. The other riders and their families are big to me as well. Some families ride/race every weekend and its pretty much their second family."

"There are 4 people in my household. I think the motorsports park is a great idea and would give families something fun to do outdoors. In light of the recent extension of the ATV ban in ditches, this would be a great alternative. Not to mention the additional revenue generated for the county in an area that is currently agricultural. It just makes sense. "

"I own property in Rice County and grew up in Rice County. We have nothing like this for our residents less than two hours away. It is also a recreation and educational tool to teach our kids how to control equipment and learn skills other sports can not do."

He is young so it would be nice to have a track closer to us so that it is more convenient for him to practice in a safe environment. For us this has always been a family event since I have a brother and cousin who have rode for many years. It is always fun to get out, enjoy the weather and have a good time watching."
